Discipleship

The Great Commission --

¹⁹Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matt. 28:19-20).

The "Great Commission" says that we are to "make disciples of all nations". Unfortunately this is an are where churches today fail greatly. Much time is spent trying to make sure people know Jesus, but we forget how important it is to make sure every Christian is discipled. We have a responsibility to help all Christians to become "Christ Like". Christians need to be nurtured, they need to become more "Christ Like" every day. There are many trials and much tribulation that each Christian will go through in their lifetime and many are not prepared to deal with those situations.

We are all about preparing Christians to face each day and to grow closer to God.

¹⁰Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. ¹²For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. (Eph. 6:10-14).

Discipleship is all about becoming more like Christ.
